At Sits & Wiggles, our professional dog walkers take your pup beyond the usual route and into nearby parks, trails, or green spaces. It’s a chance for your dog to stretch their legs, breathe in fresh air, and explore new scents in a safe, engaging environment.
Adventure Walks are more than just exercise. They offer both physical activity and mental stimulation, which helps reduce boredom, boost confidence, and support balanced behavior. These outings are perfect for dogs who have extra energy to burn or simply enjoy something different from the daily routine.
Each walk is tailored to your dog’s pace and personality, with plenty of time to sniff, explore, and enjoy the world beyond the backyard.

Policies
Two's Company
We're delighted to offer the option to bring a second dog from the same household on our Adventure Walks. For an additional $10, both your furry pals can enjoy the adventure together. To be eligible, neither dog should be leash-reactive to other dogs or humans.
Safety First
Rest assured, all our walkers are insured to drive with your pets in the car. We use seat hammocks and seatbelt restraints to ensure your pet's safety during transport. Please ensure that your pet has a harness for added security.
Scheduling and Availability
Adventure Walks can be scheduled as soon as Saturday for the following week. This ensures that all of our regular walks are covered and gives you a chance to look at the weather forecast. While we strive to accommodate various time slots, our peak availability is during late morning and late afternoon. We're dedicated to making these adventures accessible, and if possible, we may introduce a midday block to better suit your schedules.

Adventure Walks take place at local parks, trails, and green spaces in and around Bel Air and Harford County, MD, chosen based on your dog’s comfort level, energy, and the day’s conditions. We pick a safe spot with plenty of room to explore, then tailor the route so your pup gets a fun change of scenery without feeling overwhelmed.
Are dogs transported in a vehicle?
Yes. For Adventure Walks, dogs are transported in our sitter’s vehicle to and from a nearby park or trail in the Bel Air and Harford County area. Dogs ride secured with seatbelt restraints and a seat hammock, and our walkers are insured to drive with pets so your pup stays safe and comfortable from pick-up to drop-off.
What if my dog gets dirty?
Totally normal. Adventure Walks can get a little messy, especially in Harford County when it’s wet out.
If your dog gets dirty, we’ll wipe them down as best we can before bringing them back inside, using what you have in the home (like pet wipes or a towel). If it’s more than a quick clean-up, we’ll message you in your visit update so you know what happened and what we did about it.
Can all dogs do Adventure Walks?
Adventure Walks are a great fit for a lot of dogs, but not automatically for every dog.
In general, Adventure Walks work best for dogs who are comfortable riding in a vehicle, can safely walk on leash in public spaces, and do well with new sights, sounds, and smells around Bel Air and Harford County. For dogs who are very fearful, reactive, recovering from injury, or have mobility limits, we may recommend starting with neighborhood walks first, then building up to an Adventure Walk when they’re ready.
