Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is an Adventure Walk?

Adventure Walks are exactly what they sound like, a chance for your dog to explore beyond the neighborhood! 🐾

We’ll pick up your pup and take them to a nearby trail, park, or nature spot for a change of scenery, fresh air, and lots of sniffing. You can choose between 90 minutes or 2 hours, and that includes the travel time to and from the adventure.

It’s a great way to burn energy, stimulate their senses, and give them a little extra fun in their day!

What is your dog walking cancellation policy?

We totally understand that plans change but to keep things fair for our team, we do have a cancellation policy in place:

- Weekday dog walks- Cancel by 10 AM the day before to avoid being charged.
- Weekend walks- Require 3 days’ notice.
- Adventure Walks - Need at least 5 days’ notice.

For weekend and adventure walks, cancellations made after the deadline will be charged 50% of the service fee. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice the full fee applies.

This policy helps ensure our team’s time is respected and supports their income. We really appreciate your understanding!

Can you walk more than one dog at a time?

Absolutely! We walk pairs of dogs all the time! If your pups are smaller and well-mannered, we can even handle a trio.

That said, safety always comes first. If your pack prefers solo strolls or needs to be walked separately, you can either book a little extra time so we can split them into smaller groups, or choose backyard playtime if you have a fenced yard. We’re happy to tailor things to whatever works best for your crew.

What times are available for dog walks?

We offer walks in several time blocks to fit your schedule and keep our routes running smoothly:

- Late Morning- 8:30 – 10:45 AM
- Midday - 10:45 AM – 1:45 PM
- Late Afternoon - 1:30 – 4:00 PM
- Early Evening: - 4:00 – 7:00 PM

If you need a walk earlier or later than those windows, you’ll just want to book it as a pet sitting visit in your portal account instead.

Where do you walk dogs during an Adventure Walk?

Adventure Walks take place at safe, dog-friendly parks and trails within our local service area, chosen for your dog’s energy level, comfort, and mobility. We prioritize secure environments, appropriate terrain, and good spacing for a positive experience. Your walker will share notes and photos in your visit report after the walk.

What is an Adventure Walk?

An Adventure Walk is a longer, more engaging dog walk designed for pups who need extra exercise and mental stimulation. It is ideal for high-energy dogs who enjoy exploring new sights and smells at a comfortable pace. These walks focus on enrichment, safe handling, and a happy, tired dog when we are done.

Can all dogs do Adventure Walks?

Adventure Walks are best for dogs in good overall health and typically age one year or older. We also consider your dog’s mobility, stamina, behavior on leash, and comfort in new environments. Before scheduling, we review your pet’s profile and expectations so we can confirm an Adventure Walk is a safe, appropriate fit.

What if my dog gets dirty?

If your dog gets muddy or wet during a walk, we will towel them off as thoroughly as possible before bringing them back inside. We also do a quick paw check and wipe down to help keep floors and furniture clean. If you leave specific towels or wipes out, we are happy to use them.

Are dogs transported in a vehicle?

Yes, when transportation is part of the service, dogs may ride in a vehicle to reach a local park or trail for an Adventure Walk. Dogs are safely secured using a crash-tested seatbelt harness or an appropriate crate, based on your pet’s size and needs. We follow safety-focused handling and driving practices at all times.

How long do they last?

Adventure Walks typically last 90 to 120 minutes, depending on your dog’s stamina, the weather, and your selected service option. We pace the outing for safety and comfort, with time for sniffing, exploring, and steady exercise. Your walker will document the visit and share photos in your post-visit report.
